Spicy Roast BeefIngredients:
1 Pound Beef Roast
1 Can Beef Broth
1 Large Onion, cut into eighths
4 Whole Garlic Cloves
1 Jalapeño, cut into rings
1 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Black Pepper
Directions:
This is a slow cooker recipe, something everyone has time for. There’s nothing quite as satisfying as coming home after a long day and having the house filled with the scents of dinner having already been prepared and ready. This recipe is also a great dish served leftover, either as is or in a sandwich. Just remember to watch your portion sizes, so that you don’t jeopardize your abdominal workouts.
Rub the roast with salt and pepper. Place it into a slow cooker. Pour the beef broth on top. Place the onions, garlic, and peppers around the roast. Set on low and allow to cook, covered for about 8 hours. Do not remove cover during cooking, as this will significantly slow down the cooking process.
Additional Information:
Roasts are great served with a simple salad.
